Yes. Every carpet is hand-knotted by skilled artisans in Afghanistan. We do not produce or sell machine-made rugs.

Primarily 100% highland wool for pile, warp and weft. Natural vegetable and mineral dyes are used. Some specialty pieces may incorporate limited silk highlights or premium imported wool (e.g. Belgique quality).

Yes. We arrange export and shipping from Kabul worldwide. Freight costs and transit times vary by destination and method (air or sea). We provide documentation required for customs.

Depending on size and complexity, custom commissions typically require 4 to 12 months. We provide estimated timelines at the time of order confirmation.

Regular vacuuming (without beater bar on delicate piles), rotation every 6–12 months, and professional cleaning every few years are recommended. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and excess moisture. Spot clean carefully with mild soap and cold water only.

We primarily use traditional natural dyes (madder, indigo, walnut, pomegranate, etc.). These produce rich, lasting colors with the characteristic abrash of genuine hand-dyed carpets.
